Strategic Attraction Planning:
|
FOUNDER Wendy L. Jameson, MA
Having led numerous projects over the years, one of my favorite is a leadership training program for middle school girls that I and a few other women launched in the San Francisco Bay Area to combat gender inequities in education. I learned some of my most profound leadership lessons while facilitating classrooms full of girls. While still corporate, I spent several years in a mid-market consulting company leading Web, Intranet and marketing projects as a special assistant to the president. My last initiative before striking out on my own (first as LuLu Media, then as Potentiate) was leading the marketing for an intrapreneurial e-business practice, meanwhile managing the redesign of the corporate Intranet and setting up a technology solution for capturing knowledge within the organization. My work has ranged from life coaching and career guidance to designing web sites to what I do now and find most fulfilling...strategic research & planning, organizational analysis and leadership coaching for small business owners. I'm a natural explorer who loves to puzzle over possibilities and evaluate alternative scenarios. I have a BS in Business Administration-Marketing from Colorado State University and an MA in Counseling Psychology (Marriage & Family Therapy) from the University of San Francisco. I interned for my MA in the schools of Palo Alto and Cupertino and participated in group therapy research projects at Stanford University. I also worked extensively with adolescents and their families at Social Advocates for Youth in San Jose. Today, I spend most of my free time volunteering in my two boys' classrooms and shuttling them to and from various sporting events. I am a member of The International Association of Coaches (IAC) and Coachville. I participate in other Metro Phoenix leadership groups such as The Arizona Leadership Roundtable (ALR), The Alliance for Technology and Women (ATW), AzTECH, Enterprise Network, and several local Chambers of Commerce. I am also an Athena Consulting Leadership Alliance member, an FTC Affiliate Member, a Mark David Corporation affiliate, and a Strategic Partner of The Center for Effective Organizations (CEO), an organizational assessment company. Read about me from the days when I was working in web production. "Holding On to the Personal Touch" Interview with CNET, 1998. (Assuming it's still there!) On September 14, 2003, my dear friend and neighbor Judy Rickert and I taped an episode for Wheel of Fortune's Best Friends Week at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Despite winning a good amount of money ($11,000), we weren't the biggest winners on the show, so we didn't make the bonus round. Nonetheless, we enjoyed ourselves immensely and learned a lot about the inner workings of a t.v. game show. It aired on Veteran's Day, 2003, but hopefully we'll see it again in syndication! |
