LEADERSHIP

Wendy L. Jameson
AI Strategy & Governance Advisor
I advise leaders under pressure to get AI right, not just technically, but organizationally.

My work focuses on the decisions organizations make before AI is built or scaled: what to commit to, what to govern, how to sequence efforts, and where risk actually lives. I help leadership teams translate AI ambition into viable, defensible action so initiatives do not stall, misfire, or quietly fail.
Over the past two decades, I have worked across strategy, operations, and growth in highly regulated and high-stakes environments, including technology, healthcare, and the public sector. I have led organizations through moments of uncertainty where the cost of getting it wrong was reputational, financial, or systemic, not experimental.

What distinguishes my work is not a focus on tools or models, but on how organizations think, decide, and assign responsibility. Many AI efforts fail not because the idea is wrong, but because authority is fragmented, governance is unclear, incentives are misaligned, or critical steps are skipped. I work upstream of implementation to surface these issues early, when they can still be addressed.

Through Potentiate, I provide executive advisory services in AI strategy and governance. I partner directly with leadership teams to clarify direction, evaluate risk and cost, design decision and governance structures, and guide organizations through the earliest and most consequential stages of AI adoption.

I do not build systems or deliver software. I help leaders create the conditions in which AI initiatives can succeed and be sustained within the realities of their organization.
If you are navigating uncertainty, stalled initiatives, or pressure to act and need a clear, experienced thinking partner, I welcome the conversation.
